For over fifty years, Philipharm Orchards has been cultivating more than just apples-we’ve been nurturing a legacy. Our journey began humbly in the fertile valleys of Quebec, Canada, where a single family’s passion for quality fruit blossomed into a thriving orchard. From those first saplings planted half a century ago, we have grown into a global ambassador for Canadian apples, exporting our premium harvest to discerning customers around the world.

Philipharm’s roots are intertwined with Canada’s most renowned apple-producing regions. The heart of Canadian apple cultivation lies in Ontario, Quebec, and British Columbia, which together account for around 90% of the nation’s apple production. Ontario’s orchards flourish along the shores of Lake Ontario, Lake Erie, Lake Huron, and Georgian Bay, where the moderating effects of the Great Lakes create ideal conditions for apple growing. Quebec and British Columbia also boast prime apple-growing areas, each contributing their own unique flavors and varieties to Canada’s diverse apple industry. From the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia to the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, Canadian apples are shaped by a tapestry of climates and soils, resulting in a rich array of flavors and textures.

The Wenatchee Valley in Washington State-celebrated as the “Apple Capital of the World”-anchors a lush apple-growing region that stretches from Canada to the Tri-Cities.
